How to add it to Shopify
Create your assistant first (free), then follow these steps. Your own chatbot ID and snippet are on the Publish tab.
- In Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes. On your live theme, click the three dots and choose Edit code.
- Open layout/theme.liquid.
- Paste the snippet on its own line just above the closing </body> tag and click Save.
Questions
Do I need a Shopify app?
No. You paste the snippet into theme.liquid once. A one-click Shopify app is on our list but the snippet takes about two minutes.
Will theme updates remove it?
Theme edits can be overwritten when you switch themes. Paste the line again into the new theme's theme.liquid.
Can it search my products?
Yes. Connect your store in Settings > Integrations and it searches live, quoting current prices.
